Cool spot within the coronary heart of Ginza for shabu-shabu or sukiyaki. My coronary heart skipped a beat after I first noticed Shabusen. Such a cool idea. Diners seated at a counter. Employees behind the counter bringing refills of rice and inexperienced onions or topping up my tea cup.
Lunch begins at 2,200 yen ($15) for the fundamental pork and beef (50 grams every) shabu-shabu with a plate of greens and the dipping sauces – sesame and ponzu. Employees attentive and pleasant. I requested her if she would come dwelling with me to assist with scorching pots in our dwelling. 🤣
Busy store. Half locals and half vacationers. Already plotting my return to strive the sukiyaki.
Shabusen is a part of the Zakuro restaurant chain, well-known for sukiyaki and shabu-shabu. That is the household restaurant model of the high-end Zakuro.
