[ad_1]

Grateful to Ligaya Mishan for introducing Sally Kohn and her pretty household. Sharing izakaya tradition with them at Ebisu Yokochō.

I went early to seize a desk. It’s well-liked and fills up rapidly. There are a number of eating places within the Yokochō. I picked this one because the menu had essentially the most interesting dishes.

Edamame, avocado, fried burdock root chips, pork stomach, cream cheese with miso, beef tongue, karaage fried rooster, and cucumbers with salted kombu.

Love all of the greens. 🥰 How we eat after we drink in Japan. 🇯🇵🍻

Sally additionally writes for @afarmedia, so we’re AFAR colleagues.☺️

Ebisu Yokochō is close to Ebisu Station on the JR Yamanote line.
