Cool spot within the coronary heart of Ginza for shabu-shabu or sukiyaki. My coronary heart skipped a beat after I first noticed Shabusen. Such a cool idea. Diners seated at a counter. Employees behind the counter bringing refills of rice and inexperienced onions or topping up my tea cup.

Lunch begins at 2,200 yen ($15) for the fundamental pork and beef (50 grams every) shabu-shabu with a plate of greens and the dipping sauces – sesame and ponzu. Employees attentive and pleasant. I requested her if she would come dwelling with me to assist with scorching pots in our dwelling.

Busy store. Half locals and half vacationers. Already plotting my return to strive the sukiyaki.

Shabusen is a part of the Zakuro restaurant chain, well-known for sukiyaki and shabu-shabu. That is the household restaurant model of the high-end Zakuro.
