Hajime tonkatsu in #Nihonbashi. That is the hanare second store. Glorious worth for ¥1580 ($10). I added the ¥200 menchi katsu made with chopped bits of pork, which I like to recommend.
There are three kinds of pork to select from. Additionally a collection of donburi rice bowls.
The kanji for Hajime is 一, which can be pronounced ichi. A man strolling by stated, oh look! Nihonbashi’s primary tonkatsu. His buddy corrected him that it was Hajime.☺️
Tip: when you don’t assume you’ll eat all the rice ask for gohan o sukuname, for a smaller portion. This was the small serving which was good, for me.
Chūō-ku, Nihonbashi Muromachi 1-11-15
The primary store is down the road.
